Solar-Log WEB Enerest™ - Features of the Update 3.4.0

by Vivian Bullinger | 17.06.2018

In this article we have compiled all the newly added features of the Solar-Log WEB Enerest™ Update 3.4.0. Further details on the features can be found in our release notes.

Module Configuration

In the Administration <<Settings>> Package Settings section, it is now possible to select which modules are displayed for the corresponding package (M, L, XL) within the account. By setting check marks at the desired places, for example at graphics, events, and dashboard, these modules are automatically displayed in the online portal. In addition, the order of the modules can be changed via drag & drop.

New Module: Value Matrix

In the Solar-Log WEB Enerest™ XL package, 5-minute values for all channels of a plant can be downloaded manually under the menu item Administration <<Visualization>> Value matrix. To do this, simply select the relevant categories and then confirm the "Display data" button. Afterwards, the listing can be checked in advance and subsequently exported as a CSV file.

New Report: Expected Inverter Yield

This report can be used to check whether the inverters of a plant are operating within the expected yield range. Depending on availability: sensor, weather, or other tracker data configured at the respective module field are used as comparison values in descending order. The report is available in the Administration <<Evaluation>> Expected Inverter Yield area.

Adjustment of the CO2 Factor

From now on, the CO2 factor can be specified centrally in one place for the different modules. This is possible under the menu item Administration <<Settings>> System Preferences.

Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) Display

Mainly in India, the performance of a PV plant is indicated with the help of the Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF). The factor gives information about the current annual output of the plant in relation to a plant under ideal conditions.

The factor is given in % and is calculated as follows: Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) = (Energy measured kWh / (365*24*installed capacity of the plant)) *100.

To activate the function in the online portal, please send an e-mail with the subject "CUF", to support@solar-log.com. After activation, the value for the yield overview, the graph and the report can be activated in the menu under Administration<<Plants>>Capacity Utilization Factor.
